About Us
The Heartland French Bulldog Club was founded in 2009 to serve the greater Kansas City area. Although the AKC requires that the majority of our members live within 75 miles of Kansas City, others in neighboring areas are welcome to join us.
The objects of our club are:
• To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred French Bulldogs and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection;
• To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by The American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which French Bulldogs shall be judged;
• To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at sanctioned matches and dog shows.
